Gulf County Shipbuilding, Inc., specializes in:

• new vessel construction

• vessel maintenance, and

• vessel storage.

Located in Gulf County, Florida, the shipyard is directly on the Gulf County Canal which is dredged by the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers and connects St. Joe Bay with the Intracoastal Waterway.

Our geographical location in the Florida panhandle is advantageous by allowing work to continue in the warm weather year-round.

Deep-water port facilities are found where the Gulf County Canal meets the bay in Port Saint Joe.

The BP Deepwater Horizon catastrophe forced the shipyard to cease most operations. The yard continues to pursue a satisfactory conclusion with BP.

Gulf County Shipbuilding remains committed to the Gulf County community. Once operations restart, we look forward to restaffing our team from Gulf County’s pool of talented tradespeople.
