Gulf County Shipbuilding, Inc. is a shipyard located in Gulf County Florida that specializes in new ship construction and ship maintenance.
Gulf County Shipbuilding's geographical location in the Florida panhandle is advantageous by allowing work to continue in the warm sunny weather during most of the year.
The shipyard site is located on the Gulf County Canal which connects St. Joe bay with the Intracoastal Waterway, and is dredged by the US Army Corp of Engineers. Where the canal meets the bay in Port Saint Joe, there are deep water port facilities.
Gulf County Shipbuilding is committed to the Gulf County Florida community and currently employ a number of local workers at the shipyard. As we grow, we anticipate filling most of our new positions from the county's pool of talented tradesmen.
